Richard's Famous Cobbler

Build a good fire,  let it burn down to good coals, use a 6" deep Dutch oven.

FIRST line dutch oven with foil, dull side towards the outside so it will not deflect heat (this is more important than any thing)
also the lid. All this makes clean up easy, it's worth the hassle if  you do it right , you have to connect pieces of foil so it will be big enough , I can't explain how.

Then dump the peaches or whatever into the dutch oven. Pour the cake mix evenly over the top, then butter (not a lot) a circle every 2" apart would be enough or a small clump at each corner and 1 in the middle make your own corners I guess! Then cinnamon to your desire . Put a pile of coals of to the side of the campfire (not to close or you might burn the side)  put the
dutch oven on top of it. If it don't quite sit on the ground your doing good. Then pile coals on top, cook for 25 min.- 45 min. depending on how much you have drank.

By now and the heat of your coals when you can smell it. You're close. When it looks done it probably is. Blow off  the top, set the dutch oven to the side,  finish beverage-start another- scrape the crust off the top- give to Smokey  (because that's all he wanted anyway).

I hope everybody tries this it's easy to cook easy to clean up and you can experiment with mixing fruits.
